Missed the extravagant opening of the Bali Arts Festival? Catch the parade live streamed on YouTube

If you didn’t catch the much hyped parade on Saturday evening, opening the Bali Arts Festival, not to fear.

Around three hours of the event were live streamed and posted to YouTube, so you don’t have to miss a single moment of it, if you’re so inclined. Thousands came for the parade, that included traditional Balinese performances from across the island. 




Also, the big name act of the night, President Joko Widodo, stepped out of his gig to inaugurate with a last-minute cancellation.

Coordinating minister for Human Development and Culture, Puan Maharani took the president’s place, opening the month-long festival that will run from June 10 until July 8, showcasing a huge range of Bali’s coolest performing and visual arts.

Festival HQ is at Taman Werdhi Budaya Arts Centre (the Denpasar Arts Centre).
