PETITENGET: Join ’Club Conscious’ for 12 hours of partying for charity

Party from sunset to sunrise for a good cause. Under the theme of “conscious clubbing,” a 12 hour clubbing event is being held at Petitenget’s Hacienda Bar and Grill to raise money via donation. There will be a massive lineup of DJs, musicians, and local Bali vendors and 100 percent of the event’s proceeds will go to the construction of a kindergarten for orphans and underprivileged children, according to event organizers.

DENPASAR: Shop and rock, JakCloth comes to Bali

The Jakarta Clothing Expo is coming to Denpasar for a weekend packed with tons of clothes and live music. Over 80 brands will be represented at the expo and all three days have a full schedule of live music, including big Indonesian acts from the likes of Raisa, DJ Yasmin, and Navicula, and more.

KEROBOKAN: Hit up High-Fi Gate 88

For years we’ve been driving by that empty plane in Kerobokan, wondering what the heck is going on. Now Gate 88 has been clearing things up with some big parties. Showing off their new, revamped space out of the body of an old plane after a launch party in July, High-Fi 88 will be lighting it up on Saturday night with DJs spinning and most importantly, free flow of everything in the bar til 7pm. Food stands by Babi Bagus & Papito’s and Hacienda Mexican Bar and Grill Petitenget.

SUKAWATI: Catch a Balinese dance performance and photogrpahy exhibition

A month-long exhibition will feature the work of 15 photographers, who have captured the theme of Bhineka Tunggal Ika, or Unity in Diversity. Set at the Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets, there will be three special dance performances throughout the month, the first of which will kick things off on Saturday. The first performance, entitled Purusada Santha, will combine choreography, masks, and dances.

SANUR: Graze at the Sunday food festival and bazaar

Bring the whole family to a Sunday Market in Sanur, right on the beach. Browse through goodies from local vendors and enjoy a variety of food from the beach club. Entry is free. There will be music from 5-7pm and tarot card reading, if you’re feeling it.
