CANGGU: Treasure hunting at the market
Pop over to the Canggu Maker’s Market in Berawa to bargain for some goodies, whether you’re after food, clothes, jewelry, organic products, and whatever other random stuff that may strike your fancy. The market’s held every Saturday at the outdoor food hall Berawa’s Kitchen near the shortcut.

SANUR: Sunday fun day fit for the whole family
Grab the fambam and head to Sanur for a full-on jam-packed Sunday. Genius Cafe in partnership with Alam Kids has breakfast from 7am, along with free activities for the kids from 10 am, including face painting, recyclable crafts, and games. Take a dip in the ocean and if you’re not an early riser, no worries, head over around noon for BBQ at the Mercure Resort, along with healthy food options from Genius and wood-fired oven pizzas. Get some cocktails later in the arvo with live music and happy hour from 5-7pm, but first try some free stand-up paddle boarding from 3-5pm. Dinner’s available til 10pm.

UBUD: Grub at the Food Truck Park
Food trucks have apparently become at thing in Bali. Visit a whole park of them and stuff yourself in Ubud this weekend. Organized in cooperation with Casa Luna Ubud and the Yayasan Suari Mudra Saraswati, the food truck park will also feature food stalls, live music, farmer’s market, and kid’s activities.

Get jazzed up and swing by Bali’s newest, coolest jazz group, Djanti Lubis Trio, playing at the newest, coolest jazz club in Petitenget to wrap up your weekend on Sunday night. Paris Jazz Cat opened its doors earlier this year, brought to us by the “leading jazz hangout and performing arts venue in Melbourne.”
