Affordable Art Fair

The contemporary art showcase returns for its Autumn Edition with local, regional, and international works spotlighted by 80 galleries. Prices start from $100, and three-quarters of the artworks are offered under $7,500. Yes, in the art world, $7,500 is affordable.

Courts Mega Carnival

Old school carnival games and F&B booths feature at Courts’ year-end carnival, alongside celeb chef appearances, coloring activities for kids, and sales galore (including Black Friday).

Deciphering Clothes: The Troublemakers’ Wardrobe

Twelve emerging Asian artists allow visitors a glimpse of their wardrobe, with pieces revealing body parts in an unusual way, juxtaposed with objects typically found in wardrobes.

Have a Hullabaloo Christmas

Music performances, craft pop-up booths, workshops, Christmas caroling and more festive goings-ons at Tanjong Pagar Centre from now till Dec 25.

Klook Travel Pawn Shop

Klook’s first travel pawn shop pop-up gets visitors to post past travel memories on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #klooktravelpawnshop to receive entry into the space. Once inside, you can pick a “mystery experience” from any of the country shelves (including Japan, Korea, and Thailand), or choose to get Klook credit. There’ll also be hourly flash deals and travel tips dished out by Klook staff.

Let’s Go Jalan Jalan

The food and music fest features over 130 booths with retro games, photo ops, light bites, and crafts, alongside music performances, a parade, and a corner spotlighting classic cars.

Until Nov 18; Fri 5pm-11pm, Sat-Sun 11am-11pm at Singapore Turf Club, Kranji. Free.

Minimalism: Space. Light. Object.

Touted as the first minimalism exhibition in Southeast Asia, this showcase is spread over National Gallery Singapore and ArtScience Museum, with more than 150 works taking you through the history of this art movement.

Sentosa’s Island Lights

Nine artists will light up Palawan Beach after the sunset with installations like ASMR Wonderland by Yang, Leap of Faith with Teng Kai Wei, KTVMTV by Mash-Up, and Harmony by Tina Fung. Plus, Pokémon enthusiasts can look out for the first Pikachu Night Parade outside of Japan.

Saturday, Nov 17

Belles Hot Chicken x Andaz Singapore Pop-up

Coming to Singapore for the first time, Belles Hot Chicken brings its much-loved fried chicken to Andaz Singapore for the weekend, with items like spicy chicken sandwich, chicken and waffles, and chicken wings.

Until Nov 18; noon-9pm (or until sold out) at Alley on 25, Andaz Singapore.

CÉ LA VI Sky High Brunch

The rooftop lounge’s weekend brunch returns with free flow Veuve Clicquot champagne, cocktails, and a buffet spread of Asian-influenced bites.

Noon-4pm at CÉ LA VI. Pre-sale $178, at the door $188. 

Dreamseeds Arts Fest: Me, Myself & You 

The third edition of this arts festival returns to showcase artistic achievements of beneficiaries of charity organization Club Rainbow. Events include a visual arts exhibition, a market of handmade crafts, a performing arts concert, and art workshops.

Oppo 3.0 Flagship Store Opening

Oppo’s new flagship store at Suntec City throws open its doors with promos, gifts, and giveaways.

Pool Party Takeover by W Kuala Lumpur

The newly-launched W Kuala Lumpur takes over Sentosa Cove for a day, with food, drinks, and music at the tropical party. Activities include sweat sessions with Anabel Chew from WeBarre and Linora Low, as well as beats by DJ Rac.

2pm-8pm at Wet, W Lawn & Woobar, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove. Free, RSVP required. 

Sensorium

Exhibitions, workshops, and tastings will be held at this “sensation-driven” carnival, with an installation of scented jars, a “tickle room”, Christmas candle-making, mixology sessions, a bubble parade, and more.

Sentosa Cove Holiday Market

Transforming the space into a Christmas village, this festive market draws you in with its twinkling lights and decorations, roving entertainment, kids’ activities, gift ideas, mulled wine booths, carnival games, and photo ops with Santa.

Sunday, Nov 18

Alex in Wonderland

This musical stand-up show includes singing, musical instruments, and plenty of jokes by “sing-up comic” Alexander Babu.

7:30pm at Gateway Theatre. $30-$60.
