The Halloween look of prominent Singapore blogger Xiaxue is a very terrifying Rosmah Mansor

Prominent Singapore blogger and social media figure Wendy Chng (aka Xiaxue) is no stranger to courting hilarious controversy via parodies of the makeup tutorial format — here’s one from last year showing off her ISIS fighter look; here’s another one of her looking like failed reggae singer/pastor Sun Ho.

This Halloween, she’s not holding back. With the help of a hideous amount of hand-molded prosthetics, Chng offered her Instagram followers a tease of what’s to come: a genuinely horrifying look mimicking Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the maligned wife of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak. Complete with her infamously big hair, high arched eyebrows, and orange prison outfit.

We don’t even have to tell you what the prosthetics have been used for.

Who wore it better?

Chng then elaborated that she did the makeup herself with tons of prosthetics (“all molded by hand”), a look that took four hours.

If you’re curious about Rosmah’s, er, challenging looks, we’ll just let local doctor Siew Tuck Wah explain why she looks like a “scary gargoyle”. His words, not ours.

“She is the living example of what medical aesthetic procedures should NOT result in,” wrote the prominent doctor in a hilariously withering blog post earlier this year.

Rosmah

Getting her looks parodied by Xiaxue should be the least of Rosmah’s worries these days. The lady has been accused of orchestrating the alleged involvement of troubled Malaysian financier Jho Low, who the US Justice Department says helped set up the 1MDB fund and then oversaw its looting.

Earlier this month, she was slapped with 17 money laundering charges amounting to RM14 million over the transfer of 1MDB funds into her bank account. She also stands accused of failing to file tax returns for money received between 2013 and 2017. She entered a not guilty plea to all 17 charges.

If she does have time on her hands to deal with Xiaxue though, we can’t vouch for the Singaporean blogger’s safety — Rosmah’s known to be an avid practitioner of black magic who’d use the perceived otherworldly powers of the mystics to cast spells and wish evil upon those who crossed her.
