By our counts, there’re a total of eight F-bombs and two C-bombs dropped within the span of 52 seconds in this lively conversation between an alleged Go-Jek driver and his passenger.
While Singaporeans might be largely on the side of the Go-Jek driver in the last viral video captured during a ride (*cough* kidnap *cough*), it’ll be hard to have sympathy for the driver in this one. A video shared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page depicted an aggrieved driver who thought nothing of hurling abusive language on a passenger, who wanted out of the car as quickly as possible. Further details weren’t provided, so the exact date of the incident can’t be ascertained.
When contacted, Go-Jek Singapore mentioned that a report has yet to be received about the incident.
“We are currently working to verify this trip as neither a rider nor driver-partner has been in touch to report an incident matching this description,” noted Go-Jek in response to queries by Coconuts Singapore.
“Go-Jek does not tolerate impolite behavior towards riders or driver-partners. Our policies are stated clearly in our driver-partner handbook and emphasized during our on-boarding process.”
Of course, it’s hard to pick sides without knowing what took place before the video started recording. While the driver displayed obviously unprofessional behavior, it’d be better to know what exactly set him off that viciously.
