Hair care is essential, no matter if you’re the type to get a haircut once a year or the color crazed kind who switches up dye shades every month. And we’ve got good news for those of you on a never-ending search for the perfect hair stylist — three new salons have launched on our shores, offering everything from scalp treatments to luxe services to Hollywood experiences.

Hairlux

Touted as a hair and scalp specialist, this upscale salon recently launched a flagship space bringing in products and treatments that it claimed were not previously available in Singapore. Its expertise, the brand says, is being able to reverse signs of aging on the hair and scalp, and prevent hair loss. Japanese hair care system Tokio Inkarami is employed to treat damaged hair, while organic brand Oway is used to boost hair health. Other services include cuts, perms, and coloring sessions.

Juno Hair

The popular South Korean hair salon chain launches in Singapore with a 1,700 sq ft space opposite Bugis Junction in partnership with De Salon, which has since rebranded to become Juno Hair Singapore. So you no longer have to fly to Seoul to get glossy locks, since the hair stylists here have been trained by Juno, which is known in the industry for its trendy looks.

La Maison Des Stars

With a name like that and a location at The Fullerton Hotel, you know a trip to La Maison Des Stars will take a chunk out of your wallet. Star Haircuts, which start at a pricey S$250 for women, are apparently tailored to each individual’s face shape, hair type, and style choices. But if you want the “star treatment”, you’ll have to shell out more than S$280 for a customized session that includes strengthening, hydrating, and anti-frizz technology for hair that promises to be as red carpet-ready as an A-list star. The luxe salon is led by Beverly Hills hair stylist Christian Serafini, who’s touched the head of many a celeb, and services here include cuts, color, and beauty treatments such as manicures.
