Ed Sheeran’s second concert sold out; scalpers now selling tickets at prices up to $13k

To the surprise of no one at all, Ed Sheeran’s second concert here sold out quickly, right after all the tickets for his first show got snapped up within 40 minutes.

Also to no surprise at all, scalpers surfaced. You know, those despicable people with no intention to catch Sheeran’s everybloke sentimentality live, but instead to sell tickets to desperate fans at absurdly inflated prices.

We pointed out yesterday that some entrepreneurial folks have been flipping tickets for as much as $1,350 on Viagogo for the Nov 11 concert — this, despite the most expensive ticket officially going for only $248.

Now that both shows are sold out, the thirst for the innocent blood of Sheeran-listening lambs has grown even larger among scalping wolves. As of writing, someone’s offering a single ticket at $2,748, and it’s not even a good seat in front of the stage.

Then there’s this joker who’s trolling the whole thing by selling a ticket for the floor section at over $13,000. It’s such a dumb stunt that we almost want someone to actually buy it.

Oh look, someone either was frantic enough to buy one for $1,046.15. That, or the seller was bluffing.

Again, we have to remind folks that buying resold tickets won’t get you into the concert.
