The man identified in the public sex clip on Samui’s Nathon Beach, Spaniard Pons Cresto Arnau, 28, has been tracked down at his hotel, arrested, fined, and forced to apologize publicly this afternoon.
He confessed that he did unwittingly star in the short sex clip, taken yesterday morning. Much like the Russian tuk-tuk sex couple of last week, he was fined THB1,000 for public indecency, Pol. Col. Piyawat Chin-uam told Coconuts.
“He apologized because he knew what he did was inappropriate. We fined and released him,” said Pol. Col. Piyawat.
Pons admitted to being drunk, and having stayed out all night drinking with a Russian woman he had just met. She was the woman in the video though she was not identified and her whereabouts are unknown, according to Khaosod English.
After performing his obligatory wai, he said that he was sorry to the people of Thailand.
At a reporter’s urging and with his instruction, Pons awkwardly offered a “khor tod krub.”
