Two pilots working for Indonesian airline test positive for heroin: National Narcotics Agency

The head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) announced today from Denpasar, Bali that two pilots employed by an Indonesian airline have tested positive for drug use.

BNN Commissioner General Budi Waseso said urine analysis of two Susi Air pilots, initials DE and BH, showed the pair had heroin in their systems.

However, BNN is still investigating whether the pilots are suspected of drug dealing, or just drug use.

“The Susi Air pilots are now under investigation. The lab test results were positive for drug use, specifically, heroin,” Waseso said on Thursday, as quoted by Tribun Bali

According to Waseso, the two pilots are not Indonesian citizens. Because they are foreigners, BNN will investigate if they are involved in a wider, international drug network, he explained.

  1. if two pilots are drug mules, they dont run off the runway. Its using heroin thats why every pilot ‍✈️ should be tested, in weekly basis. This is disgusting. They are playing with passengers lives. Absolutely disgusted
